Sunday School

Sunday School

Our Mission:

Know God’s love. Grow in God’s love. Share God’s love with others.

Our Vision:

Sunday School is a ministry where children learn about faith, church and themselves. Our vision is a Sunday School where children learn about Christianity and the Episcopal identity, are a part of the Grace Church family, are nurtured in their personal relationship with God, are encouraged to link their faith with the world around them, and to share their faith with others.

Overview:

At Grace we are blessed with a great group of young people! Sunday School is where these younger members of our community begin their lifelong journey of exploration—a fun, welcoming place where we share the stories and traditions of our community. Through chapel and high-quality, developmentally-appropriate education, Sunday School provides a crucial cornerstone of our children’s early experience of the church. Our Coordinator of Children’s Ministries works with a core group of dedicated adults to lead this important ministry. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. Children’s Chapel followed by lessons in individual classes, offered five levels. After enjoying their class sessions, children return to their families in the service during the Exchange of the Peace.

Class Levels:

– Pre-K (Potty-trained 3 & 4 year olds)
– Kindergarten
– 1st & 2nd Grades
– 3rd & 4th Grades
– 5th & 6th Grades
