Grace Church has been blessed by four sources of income:
– The generosity of its parishioners through pledges
– Income from its investments
– Outside use of its facilities
– Plate and non-pledge offerings on Sunday mornings
With the closing of our facilities and cancelling of Sunday services, we have seen a steep drop in income, and we know that even when we resume Sunday services and outside use of our facilities, that income will not be made up. We are also loath to draw down our endowments at a time when the stock market has taken serious and massive losses. Nonetheless, we are committed to continuing to pay all of our staff from those who provide childcare, to our cleaning people, to our lay staff and to our clergy.
So, we come to you for help in these times by asking you to use one of the four following methods to keep your pledge payments current. You can do the following:
– Mail your checks to the church (we monitor the mail daily)
– Use PayPal
– Use on-line bill payment
– Authorize the church to make charges to your credit card
If you have questions on any of these, please contact our fiscal officer, Gib Baily, at gib@graceepiscopalchurch.org – he will get back to you quickly.
We continue to hold you and your families and all the world in our prayers daily as we confront these troubling times. May God the Father hold you in his hands; God the Son fill you with his love and God the Holy Spirit fill you with grace,
