With the permission of county officials and the approval of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, Grace Church is once again able to offer worship services in-person! Our return to in-person worship will begin with an outdoor Evening Prayer service on Sunday, August 16 at 5:30 PM. Our hope is to continue offering this Sunday evening service each week. We look forward to welcoming you back!
Our Regathering Task Force has worked diligently throughout the summer to develop a comprehensive regathering plan, taking into account all precautions recommended by health experts. Our outdoor service will gather on the greenspace of the Parish Hall Playground. Social distancing will be in effect and worshipers are required to wear masks. The service will include prayer and a sermon, as well as music and singing by one masked musician with no congregational singing. In order to participate in our outdoor service, you must register in advance. To learn more about regathered in-person worship please visit our FAQ page.
It is understandable if you do not feel comfortable participating in worship in-person at this time. Please rest assured we will continue to offer our livestreamed 10:30 AM worship service in its current form for the foreseeable future. I hope you will continue tuning in for this offering.
