Hospitality Committee
There are numerous occasions throughout the year that call for refreshments, receptions, or fellowship brunches to provide the parish family with an opportunity to break bread together, enjoy friendships, welcome newcomers, and celebrate the life of the parish.
Nametag Ministry
Permanent nametags are made for all members of the parish, who are asked to wear their nametags during church services and on special occasions. This group coordinates that effort, as well as alphabetizing the nametags during the week, for easy retrieval on Sunday morning.
Newcomer Committee
This ministry works to ensure that all who enter Grace Church are greeted and welcomed into our Christian community. The Newcomer Committee also focuses on helping newcomers find groups within the church in which their special gifts and talents can be well-utilized.
30-Second Visit – A loaf of bread is delivered to all newcomers who identify their presence at church by completing the Visitor Card found in the pew rack. Members of the parish bake bread and deliver it in person each Sunday throughout the year.
A dedicated group of volunteers provides coffee and other drinks during the fellowship hour following the 10:30 church service every Sunday.
