The mission of Grace Episcopal Church,
Silver Spring Parish, is to witness and share with all people the Good News of Jesus Christ in a diverse, open, and welcoming community of faith. 


If you have been checking out our community, and would like to learn more about us and our mission and ministry, we would be pleased to talk with you.   If you are new to the Episcopal Church, or just curious about our service, and why we worship the way we do, there are several ways that you can indicate your interest:

• Contact our Interim Rector, the Rev. W. Bruce Pherson in person, or by calling the church at 301 585-3515. Rev. Bruce can also be reached via email; bmcpherson@graceepiscopalchurch.org

• Fill out a Visitor’s card.   The Visitor Cards are located in the pews in the main sanctuary. Fill in the information and hand the card to Bruce our Interim Rector, any Vestry member, or simply put into the offertory plate.

• If you are already a confirmed Episcopalian, and are interested in membership in Grace, we can help you request a Letter of Transfer from your previous parish. Simply contact our Church Office.

• If you are not already a confirmed Episcopalian, you can talk with Rev. Bruce and he will advise you on the next steps necessary to become a member of the Episcopal community.
